Bio
Jason Warrior is everything but a foreign name to Chicago’s scene. In fact, one of the separating factors is his rise on the ladder thanks to appearances on The Voice and The Four. Growing up surrounded by music, church, a collective of creative outlets, and his belief in God, Jason made a name for himself by defying odds, staying true to himself, and loyal to his craft.
Often in this industry, key players are molded into layers of what society defines as “successful.” Jason paved his way by understanding his own reality and creating a platform to grow.
In his final round on The Voice, Jason points his index finger up to the sky (God). This very instance was labeled and assumed (by many) as a “cocky” motion. From his point of view, it was nothing more than giving thanks and acknowledging [a] higher power.
Humbling his reactions to both shade and shine, Jason’s key to learning is accountability and flexibility. Some might see him in a certain light, but the icing on the cake is the way he moves. Capturing the vision of being his best self is evident in his transitions from day to day, and not accepting stagnance. 23 and unsigned, Jason’s work speaks volumes in terms of its diversity and authenticity.
